Erik van Schaaik

Erik van Schaaik is a writer, director, animator and watercolorist. You may recall the hand drawn television series Sausage Dog Titus, or the award-winning animated film Under The Apple Tree—that Erik!

Drawing and watercolor were spoon‑fed to Erik by his father. He then studied graphic design at the Arnhem Academy of Art. In recent years, he has become a passionate urban sketcher, and his desire to paint alongside filmmaking continues to grow.
